Elder Options of Texas
Elder Options of Texas is an online directory for active adults 55+ and children with aging parents who are searching for senior housing communities, in-home care, home health, elder care professionals and more throughout the state of Texas.
Aging Texas Well
Aging Texas Well initiative helps Texans prepare for all aspects of aging at the individual, community and state level. They focus on ensuring that older Texans have a sense of well-being and feel prepared to proactively deal with life’s changes.
The Dallas Area Agency on Aging
The Dallas Area Agency on Aging Care Managers work to ensure easy access to services provided to and for Dallas County older adults and their caregivers. They help to assist older adults by providing the most up-to-date, local, regional, and national information resources for their needs.
Home By Choice
Home By Choice is a program that is funded by managed care organizations to help nursing home residents return to the community. They provide case management services to nursing home residents to help remove barriers to independent living.
HUD's Housing Counseling Program
Foreclosure prevention and homeless counseling services are available free of charge through HUD's Housing Counseling Program. They offer advice on buying a home, renting, default, foreclosure avoidance, credit issues and reverse mortgages.
